Elvis may have left the building, but his tribute artists haven’t. They’re competing in impersonation contests throughout Elvis Fantasy Fest at Woodland Park Community Center in Portage, Indiana, this weekend. Joe Esposito, the King’s well-known pal, will attend the festivities.

Austin singer, songwriter, and mandolinist Sarah Jarosz performs at the Old Town School of Folk Music’s Maurer Hall. The Reader‘s Peter Margasak says her third album, Build Me Up From Bones, “moves elegantly between progressive bluegrass and folk-pop, reflecting her broad sensibilities.” Willie Watson opens.
