The Roots’ drummer ?uestlove trades in his sticks for an evening of record spinning at the Shrine. Local group Ephelon Trio will also be playing the entirety of J Dilla’s Donuts.

This weekend at the Queer Chicago festival, performance artists from Poland (Suka Off), Brazil (Gabriela Mureb), Croatia (Bruno Isakovic), and the U.S. (Keijaun R. Thomas) try to re-create the understanding of the term “queer” and explore its role in their art through sound, video, dance, and sucking on popsicles. Performances to be held at Defibrillator.

A theatrical adaptation of the Quentin Tarantino crime thriller Reservoir Dogs featuring an all-female cast begins its run at Bare Knuckle Productions.
