Foreigner wanted to know what love is, and they’ll get an answer at Love Is Love, a night of love-themed performance, cocurated by the Hideout. There is going to be lots to love, like an abridged version of the Interview Show, Love/Hate letters from Write Club, and a performance from Girl Group Chicago. See it all at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

According to Peter Margasak, on Thalia Zedek’s 2013 album Via, “her voice sounds better than ever, its smoky, slightly serrated edges buffed by a mahogany sweetness.” See her perform tonight at Township. Wrekmeister Harmonies and Good Willsmith open.

Not enough exhaust in your life? Well, there are three mega-tuff-hell-yeah events happening this weekend that will provide your fix of horsepower and endless revving of engines. The International Motorcycle Show rolls through the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont today through Sunday, the Chicago Auto Show starts tomorrow at McCormick Place and runs through 2/17, and the almighty Monster Jam, featuring truck-tanks running over all sorts of shit, will be at Allstate Arena until Sunday.
