Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered.
The organizers of Wine Riot want to get you pumped for pinot. “Grab a glass and hit the floor,” the event’s site insists. “It’s you unleashed against 250 wines from across the globe.” Tonight they bring a DJ, wine experts, and a photo booth down to Union Station’s Great Hall for Chicago’s leg of the tasting tour.
Tonight, models rocking the designs of School of the Art Institute of Chicago students will walk the runways at Millennium Park for the Walk, the school’s annual fashion show. This year’s event honors the the work of Nick Cave (no, not that one, this one) who will debut new material. A cocktail reception and dinner will follow the main show.
It’s been nearly 20 years since the release of Mobb Deep’s “ugly,” “violent,” and now legendary 1995 album, The Infamous, shook the hip-hop world. The duo’s newest album doesn’t quite measure up, Miles Raymer says, but they’re almost certain to dust off essential tracks like “Shook Ones (Part II)” at tonight’s Abbey Pub show, a stop on the tail end of their extensive reunion tour.
