Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered:

It’s street-fair season! That means the weather must be getting warmer, right? Well, the organizers of Little Village’s fourth annual Cinco de Mayo Festival (26th and Kostner) promise greatness for their fest (5/3-5/5), so you won’t notice if it’s cold and rainy. Expect live music, food, and crafts.

Each week in our Key Ingredient feature one chef invites another to concoct something amazing out of a (usually) weird ingredient. The Key Ingredient Cook-Off at Bridgeport Art Center is like that, except 26 of Chicago’s best chefs (like Paul Virant of Perennial Virant or Abraham Conlon of Fat Rice) are all cooking at once—and you get to eat what they make.

Starting tonight, Cremaster Cycle, avant-garde sculptor/filmmaker Matthew Barney’s five-part epic, screens over the course of three days at Gene Siskel Film Center.
