In conjunction with the ongoing AfriCOBRA exhibition, University of Chicago’s Logan Center for the Arts presents Revolution on Film: Black Panthers in Their Own Words, a collection of short documentaries and interviews about the Panthers in the 1960s and ’70s.

Thodos Dance Company’s annual showcase opens tonight at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts. The show, “New Dances,” features works by Thodos veterans including Jessica Miller Tomlinson as well as newcomers like Kyle Hadenfeldt, whose piece Familiar Faces Laura Molzahn praises for its spare elegance.
