Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered:

Raks Geek went viral with a YouTube video of a Wookiee belly dancing to a Klingon band singing an original song in Shyriiwook. Tonight and tomorrow at Prop Thtr, the troupe goes deeper down the nerd-art wormhole with a dance performance that features hip-hop Darth Vader and a popping-and-locking TARDIS.

The Art Institute’s After Dark is a nighttime affair offering a look at the museum’s Modern Wing, including special tours of its “Impressionism, Fashion, and Modernity” show, a performance by theater ensemble Collaboraction, and DJ sets and live music.

“During Black Sabbath’s near half century together, a lot of groups have tried to copy their sound. Many have come close, but none has nailed their particular balance of sludge and pop,” writes Miles Raymer in Soundboard. The band performs tonight at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre.
