Local electronic-pop producer David Beltran, aka Starfoxxx, performs tonight at Double Door on a bill that includes Teen Witch Fan Club and headliner Deathface. His album Baby I’m Off the Drugs is “his way of decompressing from his untethered life, and its glossy, nocturnal tracks are as soothing as an isolation tank—even when they’re clearly designed to get people on their feet,” writes Leor Galil. Maria’s Packaged Goods & Community Bar hosts the Three Floyds Extravaganza, in which reps from the Munster, Indiana, brewery talk shop and spin their favorite records. Expect a lot of metal and a lot of beer, including Zombie Dust, Behemoth 2013, and, of course, Gumballhead.
Not in the mood for beer? Join Chicagoland’s moms at the Windy City Wine Festival. They’ll be imbibing vino courtesy of vineyards from around the world while enjoying hors d’oeuvre and live music. It all goes down at Grant Park.
