Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered.

Snubfest Chicago is the ultimate redemption for slighted comedians. It books stand-ups, improv troupes, and solo sketch artists who were turned down by other fests. Not to say the lineup is filled with losers: Oh Theodora, Cody Melcher, and Paul Thomas are among the performers. Tonight begins with a storytelling portion hosted by Sean Flannery. Zanies hosts the funny fest.

Tonight is the last night to see British comedian Eddie Izzard and his Force Majeure act at the Chicago Theatre. Izzard just traveled from Indianapolis on Wednesday to Normandy on Thursday, performed there on Friday (D-Day), then headed all the way to Chicago on Saturday morning, just in time to get right on stage for his three-night gig. So cut him some slack if he’s exhausted (though he’s sure to be his usual sharp self).

Kelis has a show this evening at Park West with Son Little. Her newest album Food isn’t all about food, but the titles of the tracks might make you hungry (“Jerk Ribs,” “Breakfast,” and “Cobbler,” to name a few). And we can’t forget that her milkshake did once bring all the boys to the yard.
