Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered.

You’re feeling blue about missing Westminster and the triumph of Sky, the wire fox terrier. Cheer up! The International Kennel Club of Chicago Dog Show may not be as big, but there’s no way you can remain sad in the presence of so many of man’s adorable four-legged friends. Head to McCormick Place to experience all of the puppy love.

Two Piece Fest may be entering its seventh year in its hometown of Philadelphia, but this year marks the inaugural midwest version. The all-day festival at ChiTown Futbol features two-piece bands only—most of them punk, ranging from noise to powerviolence to hardcore. Iron Lung headlines the set of more than 20 bands, with Peter & Craig, the pair who originated the fest, playing a few slots ahead.

Marco Martinelli’s Noise in the Waters (Rumore di acque) tells the stories of Africans who lost their lives while crossing the Mediterranean Sea to Europe. See it at Links Hall. Read Tony Adler’s write-up here.
