The Randolph Street Market’s summer season kicks off at Plumbers Hall, or at least the indoor-outdoor bazaar that Plumbers Hall becomes once 200 local merchants set up to sling jewelry, antiques, furniture, and whatever other eclectic gems surface in Chicago’s finest street party. This year’s additions include the Vinyl Swap Meet and the Fancy Food Market. ‘Tis finally the season.

As Craft Beer Week winds down, Haymarket hosts Drinking & Writing Theater’s Beerfly AlleyFight, a competition to pair home-brewed beer, food, and art—Chicago’s three greatest delicacies.

Dance-in-the-streets season officially begins with the Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival, just steps off the Red Line stop at Belmont. Chicago’s own Dot Dot Dot and the Dave Matthews tribute band Trippin Billies headline.
