Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered:

Chicago’s decriminalization of marijuana seemed like a step in the right direction, but even since the new law went into effect, thousands of low-level dealers and users have been locked up—particularly in black neighborhoods. Activists still want to end marijuana prohibition altogether and today they’ll gather for the Global Cannabis March, which begins at Daley Plaza.

Jen Kirkman (Chelsea Lately, “Drunk History”) performs and signs copies of her book, I Can Barely Take Care of Myself: Tales From a Happy Life Without Kids, at the Hideout.

Stop the presses! Cinco de Mayo may not be the first street fair of the season! Polish Fest (5/4-5/5), which takes place at the Copernicus Center, is claiming the honor, too. It will feature dance performances, a festival marketplace, Polish cuisine, and music.
