• L.A.T.E. Ride

Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered.

Celebrate the summer solstice with Make Music Chicago, a one-day, multi-genre music festival with free public performances across the city. If you can’t make it out to a venue, Chicago’s all-classical radio station 98.7 WFMT is broadcasting performances live all day.

L.A.T.E. Ride is hosting a 25-mile nighttime bike ride with “Light up the Night” as the theme. Beginning at Buckingham Fountain, the event features live music, a postride breakfast, and glow-in-the-dark gear, with proceeds benefiting Friends of the Parks.

Radio personality Garrison Keillor brings the old-timey radio revue A Prairie Home Companion to Ravinia. Choose between lawn or reserved seating, and enjoy Keillor’s signature story segment, “News from Lake Wobegon.”
