Who says you’re too old to partake in Easter fun? The Adult Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by Longman & Eagle, features teams of two running loose in Logan Square in search of eggs. Winners receive baskets with goods from Lula Cafe, Wolfbait & B-Girls, Saki, and more. The celebration continues throughout the day with food, drinks, and music. RSVP at email@example.com
Striding Lion Performance Group presents American Me, a multimedia production examining the American identity. Annie Arnoult Bessera collaborated with Northwestern psychology professor Eli Finkel to choreograph this dance theater production. It takes place tonight at Links Hall, which has been transformed into the most American of all things, a diner. (Apple pie not included with ticket purchase.)
In Soundboard, Peter Margasak calls Kurt Rosenwinkel “perhaps the most influential jazz guitarist of his generation.” He plays at the Jazz Showcase tonight with his trio.
