Local critics sifted through a wealth of festival films from around the globe and chose the best of the best for the second Chicago Critics Film Festival at Music Box. Tonight’s lineup includes Michel Gondry’s Mood Indigo and the documentary That Guy, Dick Miller, followed by a Q&A with character actor Dick Miller himself.
Mike Weis plays tracks from his new album at Constellation tonight. In Soundboard Bill Meyer writes, “At this concert, which celebrates the album’s release, he’ll create a similar equilibrium with a solo acoustic performance, switching between a trap kit and an array of percussion from around the world.” Alejandro T. Acierto opens.
