A new exhibition called “Picturing Logan Square” opens today at the Comfort Station art gallery. Curated by Andrew Schneider and David Keel and running for the rest of August, “Picturing Logan Square” assembles a collection of Logan Square photos throughout history. Ranging from the 1800s to the 1960s, these artifacts showcase the timeline of the neighborhood’s development.
Calling all foodies! Land and Sea Dept. joins forces with chef Hunter Moore and Rare Tea Cellars tonight. The supper club is called From Good Stock, and it features a three-course meal chock full of things like charred cherry tomato soup, summer choucroute, and Domaine de Durban Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise wine.
The Biggest Loser Run/Walk makes its Chicago stop this morning, with a half-marathon, 5K, and one-mile kids’ fun run. Join former Biggest Loser contestants like Season 5’s Danny Fahill and Tara Costa and Season 15’s Bobby Saleem and start your Sunday off with a scenic jog along the Chicago lakefront. All age and fitness levels are welcome.
