Looking for something to do today? Agenda’s got you covered:

Poets Shanny Jean Maney and Robbie Q. Telfer host the Encyclopedia Show, a live variety program that “commissions local and touring artists and experts . . . to present a verbal and musical encyclopedia entry.” This month’s topic is “February 7th,” which also happens to be the day of the show. Coincidence? We think probably. This month’s contributors include poet Derrick Brown, president of Write Bloody Publishing, which Forbes has described as “one of the best independent presses in the country.”

A who’s who of local rappers perform tonight at Bottom Lounge: Freddie Gibbs, Sasha Go Hard, ShowYouSuck, and Tree are all set to perform, and chances are there will be a surprise appearance or two.

At the Drake, the Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus presents “Deep Love,” a cheeky, romantic revue of cabaret and Broadway classics in honor of Valentine’s Day.
