According to Leor Galil, Ty Dolla $ign’s singing and rapping talents may just overshadow his dirty lyrics—his “golden voice and smooth, intoxicating delivery make his words seem less raunchy, and he’s so flattering and matter-of-fact about his propositions that it’s easy to forget that he’s operating outside just about every human female’s comfort zone.” See him tonight at Reggie’s Rock Club. Leather Corduroys, Mick Jenkins, and Saba open.

Head to the Goodman Theatre tonight for Buzzer and Brews, where Scenemakers Board will present craft beer tastings from Goose Island, Brooklyn Brewery, and Ale Syndicate, and attendees can catch a performance of Buzzer. Following the performance at 7 PM, guests are invited to grab a drink with the cast.

Yiyun Li, a MacArthur “genius” grant winner, discusses her new book, Kinder Than Solitude, at Harold Washington Library Center.
