Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered.
Observational comedian Demetri Martin stops by Lincoln Hall tonight. He may use your precious time together to draw pictures on stage, play acoustic guitar, and tell jokes that, according to Kevin Warwick, contain a “feeling of coziness, similar to what it’s like to laugh at a friend’s astute doodles on coffee shop napkins.”
It’s Whiskey Week, so why not have a drink or 70 (but not really 70)? Tonight Untitled’s American Whiskey Affair offers samples from nearly 80 American bourbon and whiskey distilleries including Templeton Rye, Woodford Reserve, and Old Forester.
Tonight at Berlin, Total Therapy, the avant-party scene’s monthly get together, celebrates its one-year anniversary with Princess Nokia, a 21-year-old hip-hop artist. In Soundboard Miles Raymer writes, “A Puerto Rican performer of Taino descent, she tackles club-banging beats with a nimble flow that recalls fellow NYC rappers Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj, giving the whole thing the giddily electrifying charge of a riot-grrrl band.”
