Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered.

Moshe Kasher bills himself “Comedian. Child Genius. Jew. Jew Comedian.” And like many a Jewish comedian to come before him, he’s a skilled self-deprecator, whether he’s knocking his body hair or the fact that people tend to think he’s gay. There couldn’t be a more appropriate comic to see perform the day before Yom Kippur. He’ll be at Up Comedy Club.

The Chicago Loop Alliance hosts a celebration of public art in the Couch Place Alley, located at State and Couch, with curated work on display; there’s also a fashion show, jugglers, people on stilts, Victorian-era parlor games, and DJs, among other diversions.

Jerry’s Andersonville celebrates its first year with food specials and rare beer tappings from the Bruery (with more rare beers from Lost Abbey, Firestone Walker, Against the Grain, and Central Waters to be tapped Friday and Saturday).
