Interdisciplinary artist and cultural activist Favianna Rodriguez discusses the relationship between immigrant rights and art at the Harold Washington Library Center’s Cindy Pritzker Auditorium.

Local artists Dianna Frid and Allison Wade, who have backgrounds in fiber arts, consider language through material mediums (including sculpture) in “Turn of Phrase” at Riverside Arts Center.

Tonight at City Lit Books, author D.T. Max reads from Every Love Story Is a Ghost Story, his biography of the late writer David Foster Wallace; a discussion moderated by the Tribune‘s Mark Caro follows. Max will also sign the newly released paperback edition.
