Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered.

Comic James Adomian was visibly fighting a cold during his January visit as part of Tomorrow Never Knows—which probably worked in the favor of his gravelly, raucous Jesse Ventura impression. He ruled the night both with far-reaching voicework and off-the-cuff snark. And he’s back. Tonight he’s part of a monthly Queer Comedy Night with Adam Guerino and Candy Lawrence at Zanies.

Syd the Kyd, Odd Future’s lone female member, partnered up with producer Matt Martians to form the Internet, and they’re playing their neosoul jams at the Bottom Lounge tonight. Miles Raymer writes in Soundboard, “last year’s LP, Feel Good (Odd Future), has them taking on some of the warm, nag-champa-infused ambience of 90s neosoul—and a little of the stoner spaciness of the same era’s out-there trip-hop.”

“Just Yell” features works from Cheryl Pope’s collaboration with Chicago youth to examine the impact of gun violence. Tonight the Museum of Contemporary Art presents a talk with the artist and readings from young spoken-word poets.
