Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered.

The Brewprints Part One: 40 Scenes on Hops is the first of four shows focusing on each of the four ingredients of beer: water, hops, yeast, and grain. See it at Haymarket’s Drinking & Writing Theater.

Chicago native Beth Stelling, who relocated to California and has since appeared on Conan, returns to town for a stand-up gig at Zanies. One of our comedy recommendations for fall.

King Khan takes the stage at Bottom Lounge with his band, the Shrines. It’s an eccentric act—the Reader‘s Kevin Warwick says Khan’s “become an expert at strutting along the blurry line between schmaltzy glitz and over-the-top glam—one minute he might assume the persona of a Vegas showman with a cheap martini, and the next he’ll be putting on a dress and showing you his nuts.” Hell Shovel and Heavy Times open.
