Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered.
Today some people will get presents and stockings and more turkey. The rest of us will get the best damned day of the whole year. We will be sleeping late, undisturbed by excited children and stray relatives. We will be lazing in our pajamas and we won’t be feeling guilty about errands because nothing’s open. Instead we will go to the movies. And eat Chinese food. And we will rejoice.
Motown mainstays Mary Wilson and the Four Tops perform holiday staples as well as their classics, including “Stop In the Name of Love” and “Reach Out I’ll Be There,” tonight at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance.
The Music Box is finishing out 2013 with a bang by screening epic films every day during the last week of the year for their On an Epic Scale festival. Things kick off tonight with the Steve McQueen classic The Great Escape.
