• “I Saw You”

Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered.

James Dewees of Reggie & the Full Effect clearly has a sense of humor (his 2000 album Promotional Copy looked so much like a promotional CD, Best Buy and Sam Goody supposedly returned them). But he’s “not just about the jokes,” according to the Reader‘s Leor Galil, who says Dewees wrote “two of the catchiest . . . emo songs of the aughts.” See him and the rest of the band tonight at Subterranean. Dads and Pentimento open.

Miss Breaking Bad? Well, it’s time to brush up on your knowledge of the popular AMC drama. Atlantic Bar & Grill hosts Breaking Bad Trivia Night tonight, and you’ll want all the answers to be crystal clear (pun so intended).

A rotating trio of actors present their take on the Reader‘s “I Saw You,” “Matches,” and “X-Matches” listings. Ryan Hubbard says, “The material is naturally funny . . . but the actors avoid the trap of easy ‘sexy’ voices and imaginatively embellish the text with a wide range of accents and consistently surprising attitudes.” See this week’s reenactments tonight at Town Hall Pub.
