Looking for something to do today? Agenda‘s got you covered.

Give your solitary creative muscle a rest and brainstorm with like-minded strangers at Creative Crossings. Chicago Artist Resource hosts artists of all mediums in an attempt to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration tonight at Hideout.

Every damn week the staple improv-comedy duo of T.J. Jagodowski and Dave Pasquesi spend 45 minutes making something out of absolutely nothing. You may know Jagodowski from the Sonic commercials or whatever, but long-form improv with Pasquesi is his natural habitat, and you’re not going to meet a pair of comics better at playing off one another. See them tonight at iO.

Rock band Young Widows performs tonight at Subterranean. In Soundboard Kevin Warwick writes of their latest album, “Easy Pain is chock-full of long fuses, one tied to the other—of the eight tracks, only one is under five minutes—but it’s as hard-nosed as anything Young Widows have done, and more intense.”
