According to the New York Times, attorneys for Roman Polanski have cited Marina Zenovich’s documentary Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired in their motion to dismiss his 1977 statutory rape case. The movie includes testimony from a former deputy district attorney that he coached the judge in the case, Laurence J. Rittenband, which Polanski’s attorneys describe as “unethical and unlawful.”

As for the dangling participle that opens paragraph nine of the Times story, I find writer Michael Cieply guilty as charged.
