The New York Times gets made fun of a lot in the left blogosphere when it writes about the slightly harder lives of the rich, so it’s only fair to note this piece by Michael Luo, on the overwhelmed application process for one $13/hr admin assistant job – i.e. basically my first job – in nearby Burns Harbor, Indiana.

Then again, the #1 most e-mailed story on the NYT is a column by the Friedman Unit on how the problem with the unemployed is that they don’t have enough imagination or higher education.
