Yesterday I mentioned the crazy surfeit of interesting shows going on this weekend. Not only could I not fit everything I wanted to cover into the paper, I couldn’t even tackle it all in that one blog post. So here are two more compelling artists playing in town over the next couple days, diametrically opposed in sound and style: jazz pianist Dan Tepfer, who’s at Pianoforte Chicago on Saturday afternoon, and postgoth chanteuse Zola Jesus, who’s at the Empty Bottle on Sunday night.
