Street View is a fashion series in which Isa Giallorenzo spotlights some of the coolest style seen in Chicago.
Last Tuesday Kim Gordon performed with Chicago’s White/Light at the closing of the MCA’s “Face the Strange” series. She rocks mens- and womenswear equally wildly, and combines dressy and casual with the coolest attitude. She dresses young, but so in tune with herself that it doesn’t look age inappropriate. This time was no different: the girl-boy and high-low dichotomies were there, represented by shiny sequined leggings and a worn-out cotton T-shirt paired with ankle cowboy boots. Glam but unfussy. Cool but not jaded.
