Street View is a fashion series in which Isa Giallorenzo spotlights some of the coolest styles seen in Chicago.

At the School of the Art Institute’s yearly fashion extravaganza the sidewalk becomes an unofficial runway, and the show is modeled by its charming attendees. Claire, pictured above, was one of the style mavens gracing Millennium Park on May 2. Her look is simple and effective, thanks to the texture of her quilted shift dress and her killer geometric shoes. As stylist Sasha Hodges once said here in Street View, “The number one style secret is confidence. Number two is cool shoes.” Claire certainly had those, and she wasn’t alone.
