Street View is a fashion series in which Isa Giallorenzo spotlights some of the coolest styles seen in Chicago.

Carl Bonafede is a walking Instagram moment, but that’s not why I wanted to shoot him. Apart from all the props, he definitely stands out on his own. That print mix plus all the cool accessories—buttons, sunnies, naughty tie, and pocket square—make him look both dapper and whimsical. Besides selling hats and sunglasses, Mr. Bonafede, aka “the man of many faces” or “the screaming wildman,” runs a 60s rock ‘n’ roll website. He used to be a music executive and a radio personality who even made it into the pages of the Reader quite a while ago (see the article below).
