Street View is a fashion series in which Isa Giallorenzo spotlights some of the coolest styles seen in Chicago.

I’m old. I’m from a time when people did research in libraries, friends made mix tapes for each other, and travelers dressed up to go on a plane. I remember the freshly pressed outfits my mother carefully set aside for our flights, the impractical shoes . . .

Now that’s considered silly—feet will inevitably get swollen and fabrics will get wrinkled. But departing for a trip in pajama pants and Uggs? What kind of spirit is that? Olivia and Tacha show that comfort and style are not mutually exclusive by mixing textures (Olivia) and juxtaposing prints (Tacha). Both girls are sporting relaxed but interesting shapes, fresh but also A/C resistant.

  • Olivia mixes different textures in a soothing color palette.

  • Tacha mixes prints in earthy tones, totally matching her pooch Mushu.
