Most of the buzz coming from Chicago’s Wizard World revolved around its stars (and its has-beens) from around the entertainment world. Name brands as wide ranging as Bruce Campbell, Nick Swardson, Full House‘s Jodie Sweetin and Burt Reynolds descended onto Rosemont to hawk their new movies, TV shows, or random cultural product however loosely tied to geek culture.
But some of the best moments at a convention like Wizard World happen away from the dozens of crowded panels and Q&As with celebrities. They take place on the show floor with costumed regular folks who come to this exhausting four-day comic convention for a variety of reasons.
