• Stuart Sherman

Stuart Sherman (1945-2001) is best known for his tabletop Spectacles, dramas performed by inanimate objects. But he was also a prolific film and video artist, many of his works portraits of friends from the New York art scene.

Co-presented by Hopscotch Cinema, The Nightingale screens 25 of Sherman’s films, made between 1977 and 1986, on Sunday 2/21.
