The culinary entrepreneurs at Kitchen Chicago, the city’s only shared-use commercial kitchen (PDF), are going retail for the holidays. This Friday and Saturday you can stop by the Ravenswood Manor space to pick up treats from a half-dozen or so regular clients. According to co-owner Alexis Frankfort, the offerings include cookies, buche de noel, and quiche from Celeste Dolan’s Celestial Kitchens; pies from Hoosier Mama Pie Company; truffles and caramels from Katherine Anne (aka Katherine Duncan); and all-natural scones from Scone Wild.

Kitchen Chicago is at 4664 N. Manor. It’s open Friday 12/22 and Saturday 12/23 from 11 AM to 5 PM. On Sunday 12/24 it’s open from 8 AM to noon for preorder pickups only.
