In case you missed it, Rudy Giuliani started the campaign season as America’s Mayor and the favorite for the Republican nomination, and proceeded to run one of the worst campaigns in history. His “Florida strategy” cost $50 million for a single national delegate. Vagaries of the public aside, it was still a historic disaster. And it seems they were just getting warmed up.
