In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Poetry magazine editors Don Share and Christian Wiman present The Open Door: One Hundred Poems, One Hundred Years of Poetry Magazine, an anthology of some of the publication’s notable pieces, at the Poetry Foundation.

The Seven, a festival series dedicated to the seven deadly sins, continues at the Viaduct Theater in Roscoe Village with tales of gluttony, lust, and envy.

Comedian Maria Bamford, a veteran of the alt-comedy scene who’s appeared on shows like Louie and Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule, performs for one night only at Up Comedy Club in Old Town.
