Arizona natives Giant Giant Sand (formerly just Giant Sand) will perform their latest album, Tucson, in its entirety at the Abbey Pub. A “country-rock opera,” the album evokes “beefy rock, Peggy Lee-like ballads, [and] psychedelic cumbias,” according to Bill Meyer. The Old Ceremony opens.

Christina Pazsitzky, a former cast member of Road Rules: Down Under and current contributor to E!’s Chelsea Lately, performs at the Chicago Improv in Schaumburg.
