Don Hertzfeldt’s latest animated film, It’s Such a Beautiful Day, screens at the Gene Siskel Film Center, alongside previous efforts Everything Will Be OK (2006) and I Am So Proud of You (2008), making for a trio of films about a character named Bill, “an everyman who stoically endures the pain, uncertainty, and excruciating beauty of life,” according to J.R.
