We’re kicking off Giving Tuesday early this year! Your donation today will be matched up to $10K, doubling your impact! If you donate $50 today, the Reader will receive $100.

The Reader is now a community-funded nonprofit newsroom. Can we count on your support to help keep us publishing?

I don’t have anything against the Tribune apart from the queasy feeling I get when I accidentally brush up against a Red Eye on the bus. But the music bloopers they’ve been pumping out this week have been too good to ignore. From today’s “Corrections and Clarifications”:

“A Metro story on Page 13 on Saturday incorrectly described the intentions of participants in the entertainment event ‘Looptopia,’ who said they were going to see the ponies. The reference was to a music group, The Ponys.”

While replacing the Ponys with an actual group of ponies might be hilarious, there could be tragic consequences if someone fed a small horse a Ponys-sized amount of whiskey.
