The Museum of Contemporary Art announced late today that associate curator Tricia Van Eck has resigned, effective June 3. Van Eck has been at the MCA for 13 years. She’s worked on 70 projects there, focusing on performance art and other ephemeral work. According to the announcement, she’ll be staying in Chicago, developing a communal art space to be known as 6018 NORTH. Last month, the MCA announced the appointment of curator Naomi Beckwith, who will begin work May 11.
