After Tula owner Laura Westgate recently sent out an email to customers announcing the boutique’s closing, she got some very definite feedback: don’t. “So many customers reached out to me with support that I reconsidered,” she said. “Their energy has given me a renewed desire to keep things going here despite the difficult economy.” She says she’ll start carrying “an improved selection and price range” of clothing and accessories and will host more events, although she may cut down the store’s hours slightly.
