Thrill Jockey‘s online advent calendar isn’t nearly as saucy as Drag City’s old-school paper version, but on the other hand it’s chock full of free downloadable MP3s, hidden behind its 24 doors. Seeing that it’s near the end of the month, tunes from the High Places, the Coctails, Primeridian, and the Dead Science (just to name a few) are already unlocked. But you’ll have to be patient and wait for the others–you can’t jump ahead on the calendar, no matter how bad you might want to.
