On Sunday at 7:30 PM the new-music series Aperiodic presents its fourth concert at Elastic Arts—the venue I recently chose as the best (if not only) place in town where you can regularly hear music by composers associated with Germany’s Wandelweiser Group. This weekend’s concert features pieces by three WG figures: Manfred Werder, Eva Maria-Houben, and Radu Malfatti. Also on the program are pieces by Aperiodic curator Nomi Epstein, the great Fluxus violinist (and former leader of the Taj Mahal Travelers) Takehisa Kosugi, and young British bassist Dominic Lash.
