Daley: City employees are ‘clock-watchers’
This is by way of explaining why he’s selling all our shit. Here’s my favorite part:
“We can’t compete with the private sector. The private sector has a complete idea of who your customers are. Government doesn’t have customers. They only have citizens.”
Those taxes are just tithes, I guess.
Also, it’s private : public :: customers : voters. Big difference.
In other words: I can’t help you. Whoever runs against Daley next election, you have your poster.
