The Baltimore stop for producer Kevin Von Feldt’s troubled touring production of A Christmas Carol has been canceled. A spokesperson at the Lyric Opera House there said he couldn’t explain the cancellation, but ticketholders for any of the eight performances scheduled for December 8-13 will receive refunds through their place of purchase. As we reported here, an earlier stop at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis was canceled last month after Von Feldt allegedly missed a rental payment. That leaves the Chicago run—slated for December 22-27 at the Civic Opera House—as the only remaining leg of what was originally touted as a star-studded five-city tour.
