Fri 2/26:
Ryan Duggan’s exhibit “To Heed Nature’s Call” featuring a “treasury” of shitting dogs is coming to a close. All prints will be on display and available for sale at Living Room Gallery (1530 W. Superior). 7 PM

Fri 2/26:
The latest installment in the popular Art Institute (111 S. Michigan) event After Dark features special tours of the “Van Gogh’s Bedrooms” exhibit. Dress in your favorite sleepwear and enjoy live DJ sets and specialty cocktails. 9 PM

Through Sat 2/27: As part of Shakespeare 400, the largest celebration of Shakespeare’s life and legacy, the Museum of Contemporary Art and Chicago Shakespeare Theater present Table Top Shakespeare, a number of Shakespeare’s works performed on a single table at the MCA (220 E. Chicago). 7:30 PM

Sat 2/27: Rock Bottom Brewery (1 W. Grand) hosts its sixth annual outdoor beer blowout, the Polar Beer Festival, features samples of its strong winter ales, an appetizer buffet, and a commemorative glass. 11 AM

Sat 2/27-Sun 2/28: Home to the Chicago Antique Market, Indie Designer Market, and Modern Vintage Chicago, the Randolph Street Market Festival at Plumbers Hall (1340 W. Washington) features a vinyl swap meet, food market, and a global goods bazaar. 10 AM

Sun 2/28: Celebrate the glitz and glamour of the Academy Awards at Logan Theatre (2646 N. Milwaukee), with trivia, prizes, and drinks specials all night long. 6 PM
