It’s a bit of a drive, but the Pygmalion Music Festival in Champaign-Urbana may still be worth the trek. Presented by the Nicodemus Agency in a partnership with the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and Polyvinyl Records, the festival runs September 17 through 20 at nine different venues and includes artists like Yo La Tengo, Black Mountain, Dan Deacon, Titus Andronicus, Times New Viking, Thao Nguyen with the Get Down Stay Down, Asobi Seksu, High Places, Murder by Death, Jess Sykes & the Sweet Hereafter, Owen, and the Evangelicals, just to name a few. The full lineup is available at the Pygmalion Web site. Festival passes are $50 and can be purchased through the Krannert Center.
