Robert Young (Dominick and Eugene) directs a 1996 melodrama, adapted by Edward Pomerantz from his novel Into It, about the effect of a young Irish drifter on the lives of a middle-aged Hispanic couple (Edward James Olmos and Maria Conchita Alonso) who run a fish shop in Jersey City. The drifter moves into their home, helps out in the shop, and becomes involved with the wife; things get more complicated when the couple’s grown son, a Hollywood big shot, turns up with his wife and son. With Arie Verveen, Bitty Schram, and Steven Schub.
